Teach For Thailand is a nonprofit organization committed to more equitable and just education opportunities for children in Thailand. We want to better Thai education, one classroom at a time. And we do this by partnering with communities to develop a network of leaders through our Fellowship Program.

What We Do:
We develop leaders to improve educational opportunities for children in Thailand through our 2-year Fellowship Program. In the Fellowship Program, we recruit, develop, and place people from all backgrounds to teach in underserved schools for two years. During this time, Fellows learn through firsthand experience and grow their leadership skills by collaborating with stakeholders in schools and communities.

After their experience, graduates of the Program are empowered to drive positive changes in Thai education and beyond. Whether they carry on as teachers, become policymakers, start their own social enterprises, or work in the public or private sector, they are able to affect change in different ways.

The Role: Data and Impact Manager
Teach For Thailand is looking for a proactive and detail oriented individual to lead efforts of collection, analysis and reporting of programmatic and operational data aligned to our vision. The Data and Impact Manager will report directly to the Head of Shared Services, and will be required to work cross functionally within the organization to own the implementation of organization-wide systems and processes to promote and create a data driven culture. This is a great opportunity for a doer who will contribute towards telling a story of impact of the movement that is rooted in data and evidence. In particular, the Data and Impact Manager will help Teach For Thailand understand the fellowship program impact in the Thai education system through rigorous data analysis which include recruitment capability, training and alumni engagement effectiveness . The role will also provide critical support to other functional teams from fundraising, communication, finance and people development in which to help make the organization operate in an efficient and effective manner to meet its goals and aspirations.

Outcomes for the role include, but are not limited to:
● Ensure programmatic teams members are using data to drive and improve their recruitment, fellows leadership development and alumni engagement as aligned to the
broader vision of Teach For Thailand.
● Ensure that other functional team members are using data to drive strategic decisions for fundraising, communications, finance and people operations.
● Ensure collection of high quality data aligned to broader organization goals.
● Build data systems that collect, store, analyze and report on data aligned to organization goals.

● Communicate results – quantitative and qualitative – that are clear and actionable to all constituencies (Board, HQ and School Based Team, Government Officials, Principals and
Supporters) in a timely manner.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
● Synthesize and present analysis to internal and external stakeholders.
● Measure impacts of Teach For Thailand’s fellowship program from the very beginning of the program and well into the alumni phase.
● Capture and share best practices to advance the impact and efficiency of the program and organization.
● Gather, collect, and execute complex data analysis to measure, evaluate, and optimize Teach For Thailand operations.
● Up skilling staff and fellows from the program in using data for decision making.

Apply if you have:
● Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred.
● Prior experience with conducting research and data analysis.
● Prior project management experience.
● Ability to work autonomously and with other stakeholders across multiple levels in the organization.
● Thai and English fluency is mandatory.

○ Ability to influence/motivate up, down, laterally, and externally to achieve
desired results with no direct team relationship.
○ Ability synthesize complex data into presentable plain languages for all
audiences particularly non-research experts.

● Strong numerical, analytical and qualitative analysis skills.

○Ability to analyze and formulate hypothesis from first and second-hand data.

● Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suites and other statistical analysis tools.
